I’m so proud and so blessed to thank the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases for being one of the winners of the EveryLife art competition award that I received for 2022. It has been such an incredible honor to have been able to go to Capitol Hill in March of 2023.

 

The EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering the rare disease patient community to advocate for impactful, science-driven legislation and policy that advances the equitable development of and access to lifesaving diagnoses, treatments, and cures.

 

This year, I asked the Senators to help me with creating a program that will help disabled artists afford art supplies. I am hoping to get their support. I met such incredible rare disease patients. It’s an incredible organization. It’s a wonderful experience to be part of this amazing organization. You meet such incredible strong people and their unbelievable stories. So many touched my heart. I had the opportunity to share part of my story with them as well.
